A special thanks to all those candidates who
ran for these leadership positions for the
2010-2011 school year, it was a close race.
Of course, Student Council would not be
possible if it weren't for ALL
students participating with their officers.
The newly elected officers and advisors,
Mrs. Adkins, Ms. Krupa, and Ms. Yuhas, are
looking forward to the upcoming year filled
with activities and service projects.
8th grade…There
is a Graduation Fee of $20 for our members
of the Class of 2010. We apologize for the
late notice. Remember no checks at this
time of the year.
St. Vincent de Paul School and Holy Name
Society Raffle…and
the winners are 8th grader,
Sandy Prodan, won the drawing for $50
and 5th grader, Jason Bainbridge,
won the drawing for the laptop computer.
Congratulations Sandy and Jason!
In addition, our first grade class won the
pizza party for most sold raffle tickets.
Congratulations to Mrs. Adkins and her 1st
graders!
Fun Day Friday, May 28…We
are three days away from this annual
extravaganza. Thank you for giving of your
time! If you are helping with the events,
please meet with Mr. Troyan at 8:00 a.m. in
the Social Hall for a brief overview of the
day’s proceedings. If you are dropping off
food, please place those goodies in the
Cafeteria. Thank you!
Students are to wear their Physical
Education uniforms for Fun Day and they may
bring water bottles.
It looks like it will be a warm day on
Friday.
Lunch on our PTU…Our
wonderfully generous PTU will be treating
our 8th graders with pizza and
pop on Wednesday, June 2 and all other
grades (K-7) will be treated to pizza and
pop on Thursday, June 3. That’s one lunch
you don’t have to pack!
2009-2010 St. Vincent de Paul School
Yearbook…have
been distributed to all who ordered them.
We have a few extra in case some students
would like to purchase one. The cost is $15
(cash) on a first come, first served basis.
St. Vincent de Paul School’s Lost & Found…As
is usually the case at this time of the
year, our Lost & Found has grown
significantly. The last day to claim your
son or daughters lost stuff will be Friday,
May 28. After that we will be making a
donation to a local needy group.
Uniform Bank…Please
consider donating your child’s old uniform
to the school, especially our 8th
grade students. You may drop them off in
the Office anytime and we will have them
available for next year’s students in
August.
CWRU will host camp registration…for
the National Youth Sports Program (NYSP) on
dates identified below. The 5-week program
is free for Cleveland residents and $100 for
non-residents. Please visit the website for

Two time slots are available and both the
Parent and child must attend.
