>> Welcome to St. Vincent de Paul School - About Us

MISSION STATEMENT

The faculty, staff, students, and parents of St. Vincent de Paul School are committed to modeling Christian values and principles to bring about Catholic faith formation in each individual student through the development of quality academic, social, cultural, spiritual and aesthetic programs which will be integrated and nurtured in their daily lives. Our hope and purpose is that our students will become compassionate and productive members of a global society.

SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY

At St. Vincent de Paul School we join in the educational ministry of the Church as we teach the Gospel message, build a community of faith and love, and serve the human family through prayer, worship, and social action. The administration, faculty and staff of St. Vincent de Paul School are dedicated to spiritual growth, quality education, and academic excellence. They are concerned with the growth and development of the total child. In cooperation with the parents, the teachers strive to integrate religious truths and values with academic knowledge and skills so that students achieve their highest intellectual and moral potential. As members of the school community, students are prepared for responsible Christian living, a respect for self and others and an awareness of the privileges and responsibilities of American and global citizenship.

SCHOOL GOALS
St. Vincent de Paul School strives to develop Christian attitudes which will grow and develop as our students mature and assume their Christian role in society. As partners with the parents in the total education of each child, the faculty and staff strive ---

  - to assist our students in being open to the message of the Good News in order to experience a loving relationship with the Lord through instruction, prayer, community, worship and service.

  - to make our students aware of their personal dignity, worth, gifts and talents as well as those of others.

  - to enable our students to develop a pattern of behavior that allows them to see Christ in others and to interact effectively with family, friends, parish, school and civic communities.

  - to encourage our students to make the most of their creativity and talents and to share their gifts at home, at school, and in the community.
